CELEBRITY MAKEUP MISTAKES!!!!

Tried everything to make your pores smaller? Try this … Honestly!

Make Up Mistakes – we all make them. Here are a few that have been caught on camera.

1. HD Powder. Silica. NO NO NO NO NO for any photos! NO NO NO NO NO. And … NO! BAD. EVIL. Any powder that has silica as the only ingredient – then don’t use it for photographs. SPF can also be a major problem. Make Up For Ever. Ben Nye. ELF etc… can all cause problems. My favourite powder to use is either make up for ever super matte loose powder or nars loose powder. Wanna know a sad fact. HD powder can really fill in the pores beautifully too!

2. Tanning. Fake Tanning. Either do it really really well, or give it a miss. Famous Daves tanner is excellent. Faux Tan (the powder) by bare escentuals is amazing and while not a “FAKE TANNER” if you make a mistake you can wash it off – it looks amazing on the body (but its does transfer so wearing white would be a mistake with this)

3. Too much colour! Smokey Eyes. Bright Red lip. Bright Pink Blusher. Lots of shimmer. A little is a good thing – too much not so much!

4. Your face and body must match. This very simple tip can make the world of difference. A bronzer can do along way to helping the face and body match.

5. Kohl eye lining. Black in the waterline can make the yes smaller. Without a doubt. Regardless i love it. But to each his owns. If you have small eyes and they look smaller with you use a brown, grey, black etc… then leave this step or use a lighter colour

Bobbi Brown, makeup artist to the stars and founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, learned early in life to accept her unconventional looks as beautiful. It was the people around her who sometimes needed to be convinced.
“My mother, when I was 21, came to me and said I have to talk to you. ‘I think you’re beautiful, but you’d be gorgeous with a nose job,’” Brown told a crowd of hundreds of women and men who came to hear her speak about looking your best after turning 50.
The topic of health and beauty in the fifth decade of life was among the most popular at the convention, with doxens of product lines and expert speakers filling the exhibition hall to offer help and product samples to the women in attendance.

My Makeup Station

A look inside my makeup station. This station holds everything i need and then some. Its on legs and can be moved around via wheels. It has six lights, 3 on each side.
This system cost me a bomb, but i really really like it so i think it was worth it. NOTE: I paid for everything in this video. Nothing was free. the station cost me £1,200. I got no discount on this system. I get the same discount on make up for ever as i do with MAC. I just happen to like make up for ever slightly better as i think the foundations and colours are nicer. You can buy make up for ever in the UK from www.makeup-provisions.com they also sell makeup stations.

NOTE: this makeup station is called voyager by cantoni. Another model can be bought from makeup-provisions.com but you can always ask for this model and i’m sure they will order it for you.

Next use an all over foundation applied with a sponge – choose a foundation slightly lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply a blendible powder all over concentrating on the nose and chin area. Dust a bronzer all over the face with a large makeup brush to knock off any loose powder. Highlight the top of the cheek with a high lighting or glimmer powder. Apply a brown/pink blush to the cheekbone line and blend up towrds the temple. Apply a golden yellow, shimmer eyeshadow to the entire lid, right to the corner of the eye. Use a very light yellow shimmer eyeshadow just below the brow line. Aplly a warm brown eyeshadow along the lash line and in the crease of the eye with a eyeshadow brush. Line the top lid with a kohl black eyeliner as close to the eyelashes as possible. Line the inside rim of your eye with the same black kohl eyeliner and then underneath the lash line, all the way to the corner of the eye. Lightly smudge the top and bottom line with a eyeshadow sponge brush. Apply black mascara to the top and bottom lashes, concentrating on the outside corner lashes. Apply a plumbing lip gloss to the lips and then line them with a lip line that will match your lip stick. Fill in with a matching lip gloss and then apply your red lipstick all over. To complete the lips, dab your glitter in the center of the bottom and top lip.
